What's Happening in Warrington, England…

Warrington welcomes major music event

A massive music festival is headed to Warrington in spring.

Music fans in Warrington can soon welcome back a popular festival. The spring bank holiday in May will see the city present the “Neighbourhood Weekender 2025”. Held at verdant Victoria park, the epic event promises a first-class line-up of music greats playing on three stages over two days.

The headline act for Saturday is Manchester indie maestros, James. The band will entertain Warrington with tracks sourced from their over four-decades-long career and tracks from the new studio album “Yummy”. Other bands and artists on the day will include The Snuts, Ocean Colour Scene, Dylan John Thomas, The Slow Readers Club and The Wombats.

In a first for the festival, Sunday will see Stereophonics headline ahead of their summer tour titled “Stadium Anthems. Starsailor, The Lathums, Dizzee Rascal, Inhaler and folk-rock favourites The Mary Wallopers will also play. Festival organisers often use poster printing services to create one-sheets listing the biggest bands playing on stage.

The music festival is presented by Absolute Radio and will also feature a hub of Warrington vendors, food trucks and concessions.

The Neighbourhood Weekender 2025 will be at Victoria Park on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25. The park is situated on Knutsford Road in Warrington and gates to the event will open at 12 pm.
