Warrington to welcome stand-up superstar
An English comedian and presenter is returning to his roots in stand-up comedy with an appearance in Warrington this summer.
Those seeking laughs in Warrington this July will be well-served by a show arriving on stage at Parr Hall. Former semi-pro-footballer turned comic John Bishop is bringing his new show to town called “Back At It” which will see the popular presenter delve back into his comedy career.
Venues welcoming stand-up comedians to their stages often look to professional print shops for promotional materials like posters and flyers to advertise shows to the public.
Bishop has spent the last two years hosting podcasts, acting on stage and presenting television programmes. However, his new show will see the Liverpool comedian re-join the stand-up scene. He commented:
His new national tour includes the Warrington show plus 56 more dates throughout England and Scotland. As a result, Bishop will be playing in places like Aylesbury, Stoke-on-Trent, Oxford, Wolverhampton, Edinburgh, and Inverness, but also two shows at the revered London Palladium.
John Bishop will now be at Parr Hall on Saturday, July 6. The venue can be found Palmyra Square in Warrington and tickets are available priced between £25 and £75.

“I’m delighted to be hitting the road again with my new show. I did a few gigs in New York and some over in Ireland and I’ve got the juices flowing again!”
