What's Happening in Warrington, England…

Warrington to welcome much-loved music fest

A festival featuring a wide range of musical talent is coming to a Warrington venue just in time for summer.

Music fans in Warrington will rejoice to hear that the Glastonferry Summer Music Festival is making a return for 2025. Since its inception and launch in 2001, the upcoming event at The Ferry Tavern has celebrated local musical talent and this year’s seasonal concert promises the same experience for festivalgoers.

Organisers of music festivals sometimes connect with experienced flyer printing services to design and deliver high-quality colourful leaflets that attract the public to attend.

The forthcoming festival will feature talented tribute artists dedicated to famous acts, including The Beatles (The Beatles Dub Club), Alanis Morissette (Alanish), Fleetwood Mac (Rhiannon), Stereophonics (The Phonics) and KMK who play tracks by Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys and The Killers.

Legendary UK DJ and former Inspiral Carpets keyboard player Clint Boon will also perform as well as bands like Hello Felix, The Gondolas and Taylor & Noble among others.

The festival's unique site on the Trans Pennine Trail has seen it build strong bonds with the Warrington community.

The Glastonferry Festival will now be at The Ferry Tavern on Saturday, July 5. The venue is based on Station Road in Penketh, Warrington. Those unable to secure tickets for the summer festival can still attend a second Glastonferry event taking place in autumn on Saturday, September 6.
