Warrington to welcome folk rock icon

The frontman of a famous Brighton band known for their unique brand of folk-infused rock will be arriving in Warrington later this year for a single night show.

The Warrington Irish Club has announced that it will be welcoming back Mark Chadwick to its stage after the Levellers singer-guitarist enjoyed a sold-out show at the venue the last time he visited town. October will find the acclaimed UK artist taking to the stage as a solo artist but will play a set list featuring both his own songs and those he sings with the Levellers.

Local venues hosting gigs sometime use poster printing services to create appealing adverts that shine a spotlight on the acts and artists they present.

Regarded among the nation’s most successful songsmiths, Chadwick, has co-written six albums in the Top 40 Chart and 20 different chart singles with the Levellers, serving as frontman for more than a quarter of a century. The band remains a major draw at famous outdoor events like Bestival, Isle of Wight, Boomtown, Glastonbury and the Cambridge Folk Festival.

Mark Chadwick of the Levellers will be on stage at the Warrington Irish Club on Friday, October 11. The club is based 83 Orford Lane in Warrington and doors will open at 7.30 pm for show start of 8 pm. The show is suitable for those aged 14 and over.
