Warrington business seeks new apprentices
A company in Warrington is seeking 30 new apprentices, which will take the total number being trained by the firm to 75.
Optionis Group is located within the town’s Centre Park and is looking for ambitious young people to learn the ropes in its business administration and accounting departments.
Derek Kelly, the firm’s managing director, told the Warrington Guardian:
He added that the firm was looking to secure approval from the government to set up NVQ accreditation for the apprenticeships.
Optionis Group recently found itself named among the 100 best employers in England for apprentices, having received a commendation at the National Apprenticeship Awards last year.
Those young people who Optionis hires as apprentices are assessed regularly, work towards attaining proper qualifications and contribute to meeting the targets for their department.
Like other thriving companies in the town, it is supported by companies that offer business card printing in Warrington, along with other essential corporate supplies.
Optionis has further offices in Greater Manchester, London and Dorset, and employs over 300 people across these locations.
It is an umbrella company comprising ClearSky Business, ClearSky Contractor Accounting and Parasol, with these three firms offering support for small businesses, recruitment companies, freelancers and contractors throughout the country each year.

“The vast majority of our trainees go on to secure a permanent position when their apprenticeship comes to an end, so there are real progression opportunities.”
