Warrington Business Awards coming together
Approximately 100 entrants have received nominations for the upcoming business awards ceremony to be hosted in Lymm Rugby Club.
The organisers of the event – representatives from Warrington First, Business For Breakfast and Pro Warrington – have opted to stop accepting nominations for the prizes to be contested.

Danny Hudson, a member of the committee organising the event, has told the Warrington Guardian:
Hudson is a partner in Watsons Solicitors, which operates in the centre of the town. He has praised the standard of the entries sent in to the committee. In addition, he has expressed enthusiasm for the quality of the judging panels that will determine the outcomes of the proceedings.
The independence of the judges has been made into a feature of the event, and any conflict of interest that arises this year will be made public.
The procedure is that individual firms that are to be put on shortlists are notified of their achievement via email. Winners of prizes then get their recognition at a marquee. The rugby club looks after the black tie evening.
