Band from Liverpool to rock Warrington
Warrington will soon present a much-loved rock group as part of their epic UK winter tour.
Music fans around Warrington can enjoy a live performance from Lightning Seeds this December. The popular rock band have recorded and played for audiences for 35 years and are now treating their fans across the country with an 18-date tour of major UK cities.
Record companies and tour organisers often order a stock of branded promotional products they can give to fans at concerts and events as gratuities.
The 35th anniversary tour is designed to follow the release of a new greatest hits compilation that features 20 of their best-known tracks. The album was released on October 4 and is titled “Tomorrow’s Here Today: 35 Years of Lightning Seeds”.
Songs on the recording include “Pure”, “The Life of Riley”, “Lucky You”, “Change”, “Emily Smiles” and “Sugar Coated Iceberg” among others, many of which will feature in the tour setlists.
Commenting, the band’s singer-songwriter Ian Broudie said he was really looking forward to celebrating the band’s anniversary with the greatest hits album and upcoming UK tour.
Lightning Seeds will now be at Parr Hall on Tuesday, December 10. The venue can be found within Pyramid Parr Hall at Palmyra Square South in Warrington and the show will start at 7 pm. Tickets are priced from £30.
