In a special summertime show, the musical group Simply Dylan will take to the stage at Tamworth’s renowned venue, The Assembly Rooms. The band describes it not as a Bob Dylan tribute act, but instead as a tribute to Dylan. Simply Dylan takes pride in presenting shows with no gimmicks, frills, or pretences. Led by frontman John O’Connell, the band performs setlists composed of the varied and rich back catalogue of America’s folk and rock hero, who had a UK number one as recently as 2020.
Delivering high-energy versions of Dylan’s classic tracks, Simply Dylan was formed in 2011 for the sole purpose of celebrating the musician’s 70th Birthday. However, following positive reviews, the group has gone from strength to strength with sell out shows and opening famous festivals.

Simply Dylan will now perform live at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms on Corporation Street in Tamworth on Saturday, July 9, between 7:30 pm and 11:00 pm. Tickets for the upcoming show are available priced at £22.50 per person.
