A musical evening coming to Tamworth this summer will pay tribute to Britain’s favourite secret agent, James Bond.
This August, the Tamworth Assembly Rooms will be hosting event entitled “The James Bond… and beyond 70th Anniversary Concert”. A musical tribute to 007, the evening event will feature the BBC Big Band, an internationally acclaimed swing band. The unique celebration is being performed in honour of the 70th anniversary of the debut novel in the James Bond series by Ian Fleming, “Casino Royal”.
Organisers of commemorative events like anniversaries often consult expert banner printing services to supply special signage that suits the occasion.
The summer concert will feature classic tracks from the Bond film franchise like “Diamonds are Forever”, “We Have All The Time In The World”, “Thunderball”, “Goldfinger” and “View to a Kill”, along with John Barry's iconic James Bond intro theme. The band will also perform some of the more recent scores from the Daniel Craig era of the super spy, as well as themes inspired by famous espionage films, including music from Mike Myer’s comedy Austin Powers and Mission Impossible.
The James Bond… and beyond 70th Anniversary Concert will take place at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms on Wednesday, August 30. The local event venue can be found on Corporation Street in Tamworth, and the show will start at 7.30 pm.
