A single-night show in Tamworth will honour Sweden’s best-known pop group.
A special ABBA tribute night will now take place at a Tamworth venue. The evening event will feature the tribute act Abba Girls. Now in their 21st year performing classic hits from the popular ‘70s group, Abba Girls have played more than 4,000 shows in 40 different countries.
They have the distinction of being the first ever ABBA tribute acts to tour across South Korea, where one of their performances was televised to over six million viewers. Tour organisers and promoters can sometimes use large-scale poster printing services to create billboard-style advertisements for upcoming shows.
ABBA began in Stockholm, Sweden in 1972 and enjoyed unrivalled chart success with their hit singles. This year, they reformed with a new album.
Those attending the show in Tamworth will have the opportunity to hear the Abba Girls sing classic tracks from the iconic pop group like “Mamma Mia”, “Take a Chance on Me”, “Knowing Me, Knowing You”, “The Winner Takes it All” and “Money, Money, Money.”
This homage to ABBA will now be held at the Tamworth Sports Bar at 32 Victoria Road in Tamworth on Saturday, December 11 from 7:00 pm until midnight. Those attending the performance are invited to dress up for the occasion in their best ABBA or ‘70s-themed attire.
