A special reggae night is coming to a Tamworth venue in 2022.
Fans of reggae won’t want to miss this evening event taking place in Staffordshire’s Tamworth. A popular sports club in the town will be hosting a night dedicated to the Jamaican music genre, inviting members of the public to enjoy, laughter, dancing, and a full band performing live on stage.

The reggae night is set to welcome the celebrated musical duo, Ska-Waddy to the stage. The well-known reggae two-piece is made up of on Natasha and Mark who will be playing uplifting sounds designed for dancing to. DJs will provide able support on the night at either end of Ska-Waddy’s two-part set.
A popular type of music here in the UK, reggae is best known as Jamaica’s most loved dance music. However, it is a little-known fact that the word reggae actually denotes a music style that was influenced strongly by traditional mento along with American music movements like blues, rhythm and blues, and jazz that evolved from pop sounds like rocksteady and ska.
Tamworth Sports Bar’s Reggae Night will take place at 32 Victoria Road, in Tamworth on Saturday, January 22 from 7:00 pm until one minute to midnight.
