A legendary soul and funk musical group will perform live in Tamworth in the autumn.
Residents of Tamworth who love classic funk and soul will soon be able to witness iconic music trio The Three Degrees in concert. As part of a major tour to celebrate their 60th anniversary in the music business, the revered singing group will play the Assembly Rooms in Tamworth in October.

An all-female vocal group, the Three Degrees formed in Philadelphia in 1963. While 16 different women have served as members over the last six decades, the musical group has always performed and recorded as a trio. The most recent line-up of the Three Degrees includes Valerie Holiday, Tabitha King, and Freddie Pool. Valerie Holiday is one of the earliest members of the group and has been singing with the Three Degrees since 1967.
The group enjoyed critical successful here in the UK and had 13 hit singles in the Top 50 between the years 1974 and 1985.
The Three Degrees will be on stage at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms on Tuesday, October 3. The venue is situated on Corporation Street Tamworth, and doors will open to the show at 7.30pm. Tickets for the concert are priced at £32.50 per person.
