A tribute show for a US country star is coming to Tamworth
As part of an epic 44-date tour, the Johnny Cash Roadshow will be pulling into Tamworth next year to entertain. A live music event, the roadshow features the vocal talents and guitar skills of Clive John, who will be assuming the mantle of the legendary “Man in Black” for the evening.
A live experience showcasing Johnny Cash’s life and musical career, the returning tour has received high praise from Cash’s family members. A singer in her own right, Cash’s daughter Roseanne commented that John’s resemblance to her father was uncanny, while his granddaughter, Caitlin Crowell, added:
“This was absolutely authentic, to the point where it felt as if it weren't a tribute, per se, it was a rock and roll gig, given by some sincere rock 'n' rollers! I am a fan!”

Those enjoying the event are sure to hear a long list of cash classics, including Boy Named Sue, Ring of Fire and Folsom Prison Blues.
The Johnny Cash Roadshow will take place at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms on Saturday, March 6, 2021. The live show begins at 7:30 pm and tickets for the event are priced at £24.
