NHS workers offered discounts at Tamworth housing estate

A Tamworth residential estate is now part of an NHS discount scheme.

The initiative has been designed to allow National Health Service workers here in the UK to receive a £15,000 discount on purchases of a new house on selected housing estates across the country. David Wilson Homes, the house builder, is now reminding NHS key workers of its available assistance towards purchasing a property.

The scheme will apply to several of the home builder’s residential developments, including Tamworth’s Dunstall Park, Drakelow’s Drakelow Park, Doveridge’s Doveridge Park, and Shepherd’s Rest based in Burton. The developments were chosen for the scheme due to their proximity to an extensive range of hospitals located in Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

David Wilson Homes is headquartered in Coalville, Leicestershire with a unique company Logo Design featuring a golden retriever. Sales director at David Wilson Homes, Rachael Harrison, commented on the firm’s initiative, stating its ambition is to assist as many NHS staff as possible to purchase a home before 2021. She added:

"We're delighted to support those working so hard to look after people during a challenging time and this is our heartfelt thank you to all NHS employees.”

The newly built properties offered by the firm will be readily available to NHS workers with £15,000 off the asking price until the close of December 2020.
