An upcoming event in Tamworth will combine classic comedy with fundraising for a good cause this summer.
The Two Gates Sports & Social Club in Tamworth has announced it will be hosting an evening event to raise funds for a local children’s charity. Dubbed the “Morti-field Live Comedy Charity Night”, the evening will feature well known comics and games for guests. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to Simons Heroes, a charity which raises funds for Tamworth children who suffer from life limiting illnesses.
Registered local charities often enlist the expertise of specialist poster printing services to design and produce promotional materials for their campaigns to raise funds and awareness within the community.
The Tamworth comedy event will be headlined by Barbara Nice, who starred in Peter Kay’s hit sitcom ‘Phoenix Nights’, with strong support from The Boys from the All Night Chemist, a musical comedy duo. There will also be games of Play Your Cards Right and Bonkers Bingo to play.
The Morti-field Live Comedy Charity Night will be held at the Two Gates Sports & Social Club located at 6 Dosthill Road in Two Gates, Tamworth on Friday, July 7. Doors to the event will open at 7pm and the programme of events will begin from 7.30pm onwards. The evening event is suitable for those aged 18 and over.
