A popular venue based in Tamworth is set to play host to much-loved pantomime production in the new year.
Fans of theatre and families looking for laughs will soon have the chance to see the Tamworth Pantomime Company in action as they tread the boards of the Assembly Rooms this January. From local theatres to national concert halls, venues putting on productions like plays and pantos often look to specialist poster printing services to produce eye-catching advertisements that call in the crowds and increase ticket sales.
For 10 days in a row, the Tamworth Pantomime Company will perform a bespoke pantomime of Sleeping Beauty. The theatre company have given the tale a local twist by setting the famous Fairy-tale in the town’s Grade I listed Tamworth Castle. The show begins with Mervin and the Nurse making Plans to christen Princess Rose, the new royal baby, until the wicked villain Carabosse finds out she has not been invited and plots to cause chaos. Audiences can expect a performance packed with magic, songs and comedy.
The Tamworth Pantomime Company’s production of Sleeping Beauty will be performed live on stage at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms located on Corporation Street in Tamworth.
