A Tamworth venue is set hold a seasonal celebration of swing music.
Fans of classic music in Tamworth won’t want to miss an upcoming event entitled “Christmas with the Rat Pack and Marilyn Monroe”. For one night only in December, the UK’s official number one tribute act will be taking over the stage at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms for a Christmas-themed concert.
Local venues preparing for the festive season sometimes look to professional banner printing services to create signage featuring a range of Christmas motifs, from sprigs of holly to snowmen and Santa Claus.
A legend at Leicester Square Theatre in London, the show has earned appreciation from the press and public alike and is now in its 22nd consecutive year. David Alacey performs as Frank Sinatra, with strong support from Paul Drakeley as Dean Martin and Des Coleman as Sammy Davis Jnr. For the December show, they will be joined by a Marilyn Monroe tribute, playing seasonal songs like Let It Snow and Winter Wonderland alongside Rat Pack favourites.
Christmas with the Rat Pack and Marilyn Monroe will be on stage at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms located on Corporation Street in Tamworth on Thursday, December 1. Doors will open at 6:30 pm and the show will begin at 7:30 pm. Tickets for the event are prices at £24.50 per person.
