An acclaimed indie rock band from Liverpool is set to play live in Stoke-on-Trent this spring.
Fans of alternative rock from in and around Stoke-on-Trent will get a chance to see The Zutons this March. The band has been booked to play iconic Staffordshire venue The Sugarmill for a single-night performance as part of its upcoming Creeping On The Dance Tour.

The upcoming show in Stoke-on-Trent will let the band introduce audiences to live renditions of tracks from their new studio release, entitled ‘The Big Decider’. The album was recorded at the world-famous Abbey Road Studio and was joint produced by The Lightning Seeds’ Ian Broudie (who has a longstanding relationship with The Zutons) and iconic songwriter Nile Rodgers.
Those attending the spring gig will also get a chance to hear a selection of tracks from the bands previous trio of albums, which may include beloved hits like ‘Why Won’t You Give Me Your Love?’ and ‘Valerie’, the latter of which was covered by Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse.
The band consists of Dave McCabe on guitar and lead vocals, Sean Payne on drums and vocals, and Abi Harding on vocals and saxophone.
The Zutons will now be live on stage at The Sugarmill on Saturday, March 2. The venue is based at 36 Brunswick Street in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.
