The five kilometre course will be marked out in Hanley Park in Stoke on Trent. While runners tackle the course, they will be assailed by multi-coloured bubbles fired from foam cannons located along the way.
So far this year, over 460,000 people have joined in Bubble Rush events to raise money for local charities. Proceeds from the Stoke on Trent fundraiser will assist the Donna Louise Hospice, which helps young people in need. Based in Trentham Lakes, the organisation aids over 260 individuals each year and requires £3.5 million per annum to operate its services. Event manager for The Donna Louise Hospice, Zoe Gregory commented:
“We are so excited to be the official charity partner for Bubble Rush. There’s no minimum or maximum age limit, and the course is pushchair and wheelchair-friendly, so everyone is welcome.”
Organisers of charity fun runs can employ poster printing services to create colourful advertisements for the upcoming events. Tickets for this event cost £20 for adults, £10 for children and a family of four ticket is £54.
The Bubble Rush will be held on Saturday, September 22, with participants receiving a T-shirt and award for completing the course. Races start at 11am and 12pm.
