Stoke-on-Trent to hear soft rock sounds

A soft-rock band from Scotland will play live for Stoke-on-Trent audiences this winter at one of the city’s best-known venues.

Scottish songsters Wet Wet Wet are coming to Stoke-on-Trent in the new year. January will see the pop rock band grace the stage of city venue Victoria Hall before they launch a 2025 tour supported by M People’s Heather Small.

Tour organisers often look to graphic design specialists to create stylish artwork that matches the branding of the bands they represent to include on Posters, T-Shirts and other promotional items.

Wet Wet Wet rose to fame during the 1980s and 1990s enjoying widespread popularity thanks to several hit singles like "Wishing I Was Lucky", "Sweet Little Mystery" and "Goodnight Girl." However, their biggest success came in 1994 when they covered The Troggs track "Love Is All Around," which featured on the motion picture soundtrack for “Four Weddings and a Funeral” and stayed at number one for 15 weeks.

While original vocalist Marti Pellow no longer performs with the band, Wet Wet Wet has secured a new star singer, Kevin Simm of the iconic noughties pop group Liberty X.

Wet Wet Wet will now appear live in concert at Victoria Hall on Friday, January 31. The venue is sited on Bagnall Street in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent and the show will commence at 7.30 pm.
