An event designed especially for music lovers will be on stage in Stoke-on-Trent later this year at one of the city’s best-loved venues.
Stoke-on-Trent’s esteemed Victoria Hall has announced it will be hosting an evening event that’s sure to delight music fans in the area. For one night only, the venue will be welcoming Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra to play an autumn concert as part of their 2024 UK tour.
Theatres and concert halls booking touring acts often work with poster printing services to create colourful advertisements for display to drive ticket sales.
The November show will find the former Squeeze pianist joined by talented friends and peers including special guest vocalist, Imelda May. Known for her versatile voice and unique singing style, May will entertain audiences with jazz, gospel, blues, soul and rock. The band will also feature Sumudu Jayatilaka, Louise Marshall, Ruby Turner and drummer Gilson Lavis.
An accomplished British bandleader, Holland has recorded and performed with some of the biggest names in music including George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Sting, Luther Vandross, Paul Weller and BB King.
Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra will be at Victoria Hall on Saturday, November 9. The show will begin at 9.30 pm and the venue is sited on Bagnall Street in Stoke-on-Trent’s Hanley.
