A progressive rock icon is bringing his brand-new Christmas show to Stoke-on-Trent this winter ahead of the festive season.
Rock fans in Stoke-on-Trent will receive a gift ahead of Christmas Day this year. Early December will see former Yes composer Rick Wakeman appear at the Staffordshire city’s premium events venue, Victoria Hall, accompanied by friends and family for a seasonal production.
Titled “The Rick Wakeman Yuletide Christmas Show”, the concert features an all-new format and builds on the musician’s solo festive appearances, which took a hiatus last year. The touring show features his son Adam Wakeman, an accomplished keyboard player, and the daughter of Wakeman’s late friend Steve Marriott, Mollie Marriott, on vocals.
Promoters of musical productions sometimes reach out to poster printing services to design adverts featuring the names of special guests.
The stage of Victoria Hall will have a grand piano and two keyboards set up on the night, allowing Wakeman and his guests to play a range of different materials. Music fans purchasing tickets can expect traditional seasonal songs, old and new tracks from Wakeman’s extensive songbook and a surprising opportunity for audience participation.
The Rick Wakeman Yuletide Christmas Show will be on stage at Victoria Hall on Tuesday, December 3. The venue is on Bagnall Street in Stoke-on-Trent and tickets are available from £40.17 per person.
