Stoke on Trent hosts Johnny Cash tribute

One of the largest celebrations of legendary country music icon Johnny Cash is coming to Stoke on Trent.

Entitled ‘the Johnny Cash Roadshow’, this touring tribute is the only show of its kind fully endorsed by the family of the legendary performer. The show is led by the award-winning talents of Clive John on guitar and vocals, joined by Emily Heighway taking the role of Cash’s wife June in several duets. Both singers will be well-supported by the Spirit Band and the JCR horns.

Promoters of live music events can take advantage of poster printing services to create colourful Posters to advertise to the local community.

Dubbed “the biggest and best celebration of Johnny Cash”, this event is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Cash’s legendary live recordings at San Quentin State Correctional facility. The famous concert was televised in the UK on February 24, 1969 and was released on an album later that year on June 4.

Clive and company will play a selection of songs from the well-known album, along with many other Cash classics during the concert, which will run for just under two and a half hours, including an interval.

The Johnny Cash roadshow will be held at the Victoria Hall on Bagnall Street in Stoke On Trent on Saturday, December 11.
