One Contracts was established by Matt Stocks and Pascal Parker in 2018. The entrepreneurs, who are brothers-in-law, began to operate from a unit in Longton’s Sutherland Institute. Since then, the enterprise has moved on to occupy part of Stoke-on-Trent’s Fenpark Industrial Estate.
The area of the unit is 6,500 square feet. Unfortunately, it has proved slightly inadequate for the changing needs of the outfit. Hence, some work has had to be turned down. Fast business growth means that a further relocation of the manufacturing firm is on the cards. Businesses that change their address will need to update internal documents, including letterheads.
From last May, One Contracts has employed a bigger workforce than it started out with. During the next few months, its management want to hire five additional employees. Parker told the Stoke Sentinel:
“It has been a whirlwind eight or nine months. We have exceeded all our expectations and have continued to grow. We estimate that we’ve turned over £1 million in our first 12 months and we want to double that in the coming year.”
Parker praised his existing team. In particular, he enthused about their dedication. He is aware that they took a risk when they chose to be employed by a start-up. He hopes that One Contracts will flourish with a fresh workshop for finishing and spraying.Get a Free Quote for Letterheads
