Stoke on Trent art exhibit to focus on butterflies

An exhibition that focuses on butterflies in currently on show in Stoke on Trent and is raising funds for a worthy cause.

An innovative art installation is housed temporarily among the manicured gardens of the popular Trentham Estate. A domed framework resembling a butterfly house has been erected and adorned with miniature butterflies crafted from ceramics, iconic to the area famed for ‘the Potteries’. The fixture represents a collaboration between local businesses the ceramics industry and artists among others, working together to help a children’s charity.

Those organising art exhibitions and other fundraising events can promote them locally by making good use of quality poster printing services in the vicinity.

The art installation was created in support of a local hospice called ‘The Donna Louise’, which assists both young people and children presently living with conditions which are life-limiting. Each butterfly can be purchased with 100% of the proceeds going towards helping the hospice.

The butterfly design is based on the work of artist and hospice ambassador Charlotte Thom, who was present at the Donna Louise from age seven and sadly passed away last year.

Admission to Trentham Gardens where the exhibit is stationed is included when ordering a butterfly.

The installation, which recently launched, will be available to visit throughout the year until November 3rd.
