Spooky circus heads for Stoke-on-Trent
A stately park in Stoke-on-Trent will welcome a special Halloween edition of a successful travelling circus later this year.
Residents of Stoke-on-Trent looking for an exciting way to celebrate the spookiest season are in for a rare treat. From late autumn to the beginning of winter, the city’s elegant greenspace, the Trentham Estate is playing host to Europe’s largest travelling circus, presenting a show entitled “Gandeys Halloween Spooktacular Trentham”.
The event promises all the hallmarks of Gandeys Circus like clowns, acrobats, aerialists, strong men and bike riders but with a wicked twist for Halloween. Circuses often enlist expert banner printing services to create brightly coloured decorative signage featuring special themes alongside their official branding.
With entertainment designed for all ages to enjoy, the haunted big top will offer thrills, chills and plenty of popcorn. While a UK-based circus, Gandeys is renowned for its international talent with a wide range of performers sourced from all over the world. Robert "Bob" Gandey founded the circus in the 1910s and started his circus career at age nine, training ponies.
Gandeys Halloween Spooktacular Trentham will now be at the Trentham Estate from Sunday, October 25 to Sunday, November 2. The park is situated on Stone Road in Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent and the circus show is two hours long.
Tickets for the edge-of-your-seat event are priced from £18.03 per person.
