Mystery and magic coming to Stoke

Stoke-on-Trent will host a magical game of murder and mystery.

Fans of sorcery and secrets are invited to take part in a spell-binding event in Stoke called “Witchcraft & Wizardry”. Those joining the outdoor adventure will play a magical game that takes place around the streets of Stoke-on-Trent. In a time-sensitive contest, teammates are required to crack puzzles to save the magic realm by solving the mystery.

Although optional, players are encouraged to come costumed in their best wizard wear donning cloaks, hats and grabbing wands to wield in the game. The adventure is played through an application that must be first downloaded onto contestant’s smartphones.

The game has been designed with social distancing in mind and takes placed entirely outside. Teams will be given a staggered start to limit crossing each other’s paths and a 2-metre distance will be kept between all but teammates on the day. Organisers of events can sometimes use brochure printing services to make Booklets that outline safety rules for those taking part.

Competitions will also be held with prizes awarded for a range of categories from best costume and team name to best K-9 at the dog-friendly event.

The Witchcraft & Wizardry game will take place on Saturday, September 5 from 9am until 2pm. Team tickets for up to six people cost £36 with children allowed to play for free.
