Hotel invites intrepid ghost hunters to tour

A ghostly night-time tour is planned at a hotel located in Stoke-on-Trent with a haunted past.

Those curious about the haunted history of the Leopard Inn can take part in a special five-hour tour during the night to seek out spooks. From spirits stalking the corridors in the form of previous owners to tales of local witches, the hotel once known as the “Ritz of the North” has an intriguing past for guests to explore.

The tour begins in the town centre pub where refreshments are available at all hours of the evening. Enterprises operating unique events in their establishments can use professional Print shops to create pamphlets explaining itineraries to those taking part.

Attendees can enjoy a guided excursion around previously inaccessible parts of the premises and experience a range of unique activities from table tipping and glass divination to spirit calling and a “human pendulum experiment”. Cutting-edge ghost hunting gadgets will be provided along with more traditional paraphernalia like Ouija boards, and for the very brave there will be the additional option of lone vigils where delegates can hunt by themselves.

The Leopard Inn Ghost Hunt begins at 9pm and ends at 2am on August 15. The hunt will be held at the Leopard hotel at 21 Market Place in Stoke-on-Trent. Those taking part are advised to wear warm clothing on the tour.
