Four-day fair to be held in Stoke on Trent

A craft fair spanning four days will take place in Stoke on Trent this summer.

Entitled ‘Craft in Focus’, the fair will feature around 100 modern makers and artists from all over the UK. Visitors attending the event will be afforded the opportunity to purchase original designs fashioned by artists.

Works crafted from glass, textile, leather, metal and ceramic as well as paintings, items of jewellery and furniture will be on show and ready to buy at affordable prices. Craftsmen selling their work at fairs in the summer season can create smart Business Cards to pass on to customers with their purchases and build their client base.

The artists present will be set up in multiple marquees amongst the setting of Trentham Gardens at the Trentham Estate on Stone Road.

These historic gardens have been restored over the last 15 years. They are highly regarded as some of Britain’s best thanks to the efforts of landscape artist Tom Stuart-Smith, a gold medallist many times over at the Chelsea Garden Show. The revival of Trentham Gardens was referred to by the Telegraph as “the garden makeover of the decade”.

The summer event will run daily from 10am until 5pm, June 6 to June 9 and admission to the fair is included in the normal Trentham Gardens ticket.
