Comedy legend to come to Stoke-on-Trent

An esteemed venue in Stoke-on-Trent will open its doors to an iconic English comedian this springtime.

Those in Stoke-on-Trent seeking laughs from a consummate professional can catch Frank Skinner at Victoria Hall in April.

The comic legend will be bringing his critically acclaimed show called “30 Years of Dirt” to the stage, which has already proved a considerable success in capital cities. Skinner performed a seven-night stint at the Lyric Theatre based at West End London and enjoyed a sold-out run at last year’s edition of the Edinburgh Festival.

Theatres in UK capitals often depend on specialist poster printing services to create eye-catching promotional art they can display outside and in foyers to attract ticket sales.

Born Christopher Graham Collins in 1957, Skinner is not just a comedian but an actor, writer, presenter and poet. The 2001 British Comedy Awards saw him named the Best Comedy Entertainment Personality, and he has become a household name thanks to his television work. Fantasy Football League, The Frank Skinner Show, Room 101 and Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned are just some of the shows he has appeared on.

Frank Skinner will now be performing live at Victoria Hall on Saturday, April 20. The hall can be found on Bagnall Street in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, and the show will run from 7.30pm to 11pm. Admission is available to those aged 14 and over.
