What's Happening in Stoke-On-Trent, England…

Beatles celebration bound for Stoke-on-Trent

A longstanding Stoke-on-Trent venue will soon honour 60 years of music and cinema from The Beatles with a talented tribute act.

Victoria Hall in Stoke-on-Trent has confirmed it’s bringing The Bootleg Beatles to its stage in April for a single-night show. Venues presenting tribute shows sometimes call on skilled flyer printing services to produce hand-to-hand adverts that welcome the public to attend.

The legendary tribute band has designed a show to celebrate that over six decades ago, The Beatles burst onto cinema screens with their hit motion picture “A Hard Day’s Night”. The movie enjoyed both commercial and critical success, was nominated for Academy Awards and its director has been accredited with kickstarting the MTV music video culture that followed in its wake.

The performance will see the band play classic numbers from The Beatles’ first cinematic output, but also their later films “Help!”, “Let It Be”, “Yellow Submarine” and the “Magical Mystery Tour”.

The Bootleg Beatles are renowned for providing a seamless recreation of the “Fab Four” including their voices, instruments, costumes and hairstyles. The multi-media experience includes celluloid clips and an orchestra supporting the band.

The Bootleg Beatles will now play live at Victoria Hall on Wednesday, April 9. Tickets are priced from £37.50, and the venue is on Bagnall Street in Stoke-on-Trent. The show is two and half hours long and includes an interval.
