AC/DC weekend storms into Stoke

Stoke-on-Trent will welcome a weekend dedicated to rock legends AC/DC.

Dubbed “The AC/DC Weekender”, this event features two days of rocking entertainment celebrating the Australian guitar heroes AC/DC. Friday night presents attendees with a chance to listen to non-stop tracks from the band made famous by guitarist Angus Young and singers Bon Scott and Brian Johnson hammered home by the DJ video wall including Back in Black, Highway to Hell and Shoot To Thrill.

On the Saturday night from 7:00 pm, the Dirty DC Boys from across the Atlantic will play a live three-hour set of AC/DC anthems. Fans of the band themselves, the Dirty DC Boys have worked hard to create a show that not only captures the music and energy of a live AC/DC show, but all the details to offer an authentic experience. From Angus’s school uniforms to the tall stacks of Marshall amplifiers, every aspect of the band’s performance has been observed. Promoters of live rock shows will sometimes use flyer printing services to hand out to the public and draw in the crowds.

The AC/DC Weekender will be held at Eleven on Newfields Industrial Estate in Sandyford, Stoke-on-Trent from Friday, November 20 to Saturday, November 21. Under 18s are welcome to attend the event providing that each individual is accompanied by a parent. Tickets for the AC/DC extravaganza are priced at £14.30 per person.
