A production featuring murder and mystery is coming to the home of the arts in Stockport to raise funds for its maintenance and restoration.
Amateur sleuths in Stockport can dig out their deerstalkers and magnifying glass this spring for an upcoming event in town. Cinema and theatre hub, the Stockport Plaza is presenting one of its murder mystery fundraisers in May that will feature its very own “Plaza Players”.
Theatre troupes sometimes connect with gifted Graphic Design Services to create promotional Posters that match the theme of their production and encourage the public to participate.
Residents and visitors to Stockport can join other guests on arrival at one of the three evening performances held during the week. The event splits guests into clue-cracking groups of six, helping them make new friends as they work closely to work out just who the murderer is and why they committed the crime.
The price of admission to the performance includes buffet dining which will be served in the Plaza’s Café Lounge. Funds raised through ticket sales will help to restore and maintain the Stockport Plaza, a historic building that dates to 1932.
The Plaza Murder Mystery Fundraiser will now run from Tuesday, May 13 to Thursday, May 15 at the Stockport Plaza. Performances start from 7.30 pm and the Plaza can be found in Mersey Square, Stockport.
