This new partner charity will be ‘Engage, Grow, Go’ (EGG), an organisation that assists people who are homeless and which has its headquarters at a site in Stockport. It provides much-needed support services to people from across the North West region who are on the streets, helping them to find places to live and opportunities for employed work or self-employment.

EGG founder Jonathan Billings told Marketing Stockport that the charity was very happy to be teaming up with the Stockport Business Awards.
He then went on to add that:
“It’s a huge honour for a relatively new charity with an innovative focus on supporting homeless people into employment. All funds raised will be spent on providing frontline effective services to people who are rough sleeping or homeless.”
Billings concluded by saying that he hoped that the attention this link-up would provide would help the clients of the charity to find suitable opportunities for work.
