Stockport band announce local gig

A popular band from Stockport have announced that they will be playing a headline gig in the North West later this year, as part of the annual series of concerts known as the Sound of the City.

Blossoms are a five-piece band that formed in Stockport a decade ago and have since established themselves on the UK music scene. They will be returning to the North West later in the year as the headline act for the Sound of the City show at the Castlefield Bowl, Manchester.

Given the fan base that they have and the fact that it is a homecoming show, this will likely be a sell-out. However, flyer printing from outlets in Stockport can be helpful in promoting upcoming gigs to music fans in the region.

It is one of two Sound of the City concerts that they are scheduled to top the bill for. The second one will take place at the Millennium Square in Leeds. The two shows were confirmed by the band on their official Twitter page.

The supporting act at Castlefield Bowl will be Inspiral Carpets, whereas the show at the Millennium Square will have Miles Kane as the support act. These gigs come in the wake of the sold-out tour of the UK that Blossoms undertook in 2022.

They will take place on 6th and 8th July.
