A brand new scheme that will be targeted at older people could be set to be constructed in a district of Stockport. The developer has submitted Plans for the new retirement living scheme to the council.
McCarthy Stone is hoping to build high-grade homes for retired people at a spot within the Davenport district of the town. The chosen site is Trinity Gardens, and the developer wants to renovate this land before creating a scheme that would contain a total of 54 flats, as well as multiple additional amenities. These would include gardens that are fully landscaped, parking areas and a lounge for use by the residents.
Other facilities that have been incorporated into the Plans are a room for use by guests who are visiting the scheme, a space for storage and for charging mobility scooters, as well as lifts between the different floors.
Should the scheme be given the go ahead, the developer can always look to outlets in Stockport that provide quality colour brochure printing, if it wants to show off the flats and amenities to potential residents.
McCarthy Stone is stating that it has already spoken to people living in the district to let them know what it is planning and get their thoughts. It has indicated that the response was mostly positive, with people keen to see the site redeveloped and put to good use.Get a Free Quote for Plans
