Taking place at the Village Web Company offices on The Precinct in Romiley, Flourishing Friday will focus on ways to open doors in the business world, including attracting funding and commissions.
Tips on identifying and building partnerships with strategic partners will also be offered, as attendees learn how to develop their company’s influence in respective sectors.
It’s all about the approach to finding synergistic partners, and how collaboration can make a real impact on the success of a business. Organisers Flourish, a company that supports social entrepreneurs, confirmed:
“We'll be joined by social entrepreneur Caroline Stevenson (Founder, Foodinate) who will share her experience in building collaborative relationships, enable you to meet your goals, and grow your venture."
Flourish was founded in 2016 by Jo McGrath, Nickala Torkington and Anne Strachan, who identified a need for supporting women growing social ventures.
Attendees may like to bring along their Business Cards for potential networking opportunities with fellow business owners.
As well as tips on time-saving and forging relationships, there will also be guidance on prioritising a business plan, roundtable discussions and the chance to benefit from 1-2-1 mentoring with the Flourish team.
Flourishing Friday takes place on Friday, 26th January from 10.00am to 4.00pm. It is free to attend.
