An alternative rock band hailing from Scotland will be playing Sheffield with springtime gig.
After having to push back their tour Plans in 2020 and 2021, Scottish rockers the Manic Street Preachers will be playing Sheffield this spring to celebrate their recent album. Also delayed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on vinyl manufacturing, the new Long Play recording entitled Endless Arcade was released on April 30th last year.
Recording labels promoting new albums from established bands will sometimes seek out professional poster printing services to create billboard advertisements to help spread the word.
Influenced by acclaimed US bands like the Byrds and Big Star, Teenage Fanclub first emerged towards the end of the 80s. However, it was after signing with recording giant Geffen that the group achieved commercial success in 1991 with a trio of alternative rock hits, “What You Do to Me,” “The Concept” from the album Bandwagonesque.
While over the years the group have combined a wide range of music styles to create a unique sound, they continue to impress audiences and critics with their live performances. Kurt Cobain, frontman for 90s grunge legends Nirvana once referred to the Manic Street Preachers as “the best band in the world” after they toured together.
The Manic Street Preachers will now be hitting the stage at The Leadmill, in Sheffield on Friday, April 8. The show will begin at 7.30 pm and end at 9.30 pm.Get a Free Quote for Plans
