Sheffield to present spring food event

A festival dedicated to Sheffield food and drink producers is coming to the city in springtime.

People with a passion for eating and drinking in Sheffield will rejoice to hear that a much-loved event returns to Steel City in May. For three days, Peace Gardens in the heart of the city will welcome the Sheffield Food Festival.

Organisers of multi-day events like food festivals sometimes work with expert banner printing services to create informative signage that displays key details like opening times, entry costs, and sponsors.

Now running for more than a decade, the festival is still one of the largest family-friendly annual events held in Sheffield that are completely free to attend. The festival puts Sheffield in the spotlight, drawing attention to the finest cuisine and beverages made by local companies.

The event also boasts local talent, emerging artists and a wide range of family-oriented activities through an entertainment programme helmed by members of the community. Highlights of the festival will include a live music stage, a community stalls, an artisan market, an activity hub and stalls serving an eclectic mix of food from sweet treats like desserts to savoury street snacks.

The Sheffield Food Festival is presented by Swan Events and will kick off on Saturday, May 24 and runs until Monday, May 26. The event will take place at Peace Gardens on Pinstone Street in Sheffield.
