Parkwood Academy in Sheffield’s Emma Smythe has been nominated on a shortlist that will see her run for an award entitled “Classroom Support Assistant of the Year” as part of a scheme called the Tes Schools Awards.
Organisations awarding achievements for excellence can sometimes use professional Print shops to create certificates for winners. The awards ceremony for 2021 will be the 13th edition to date and will once more celebrate and honour the exceptional quality, innovation and commitment of UK educators.
After a challenging year for schools and colleges across the country the Tes School Awards welcomes the opportunity to showcase the education sector’s best and brightest.
Editor for Tes magazine and chief judge of awards, Jon Severs, commented:
“It is more important this year than ever before to celebrate the fantastic work schools do because in the past 12 months they have gone above and beyond to ensure pupils were able to be educated and be kept safe.”
Awards will be presented to winners of 16 different categories, including creativity, collaboration and use of technology alongside two special classes, “Overall School of the Year” and “Lifetime Achievement.”
The winners of all awards will be officially announced on June 25 in a ceremony that, like last year’s edition, will be held online.
