Major food event returning to Sheffield

Sheffield will celebrate the city’s food scene at an important summer event.

The 2022 edition of the Sheffield Food Festival will be held in the city this June. The annual celebration is Sheffield’s largest event offering free-of-charge admission and is held in many different locations. While the main hub of the festival is Sheffield’s Peace Gardens, the major event spreads out to Fargate, Town Hall Square, the Winter Gardens, Millennium Square and the city centre.

Major festivals using multiple venues often use brochure printing services to create branded Booklets that outline where and when individual events are taking place for members of the public looking to attend.

Each year the festival attracts over 50,000 visitors keen to try Sheffield’s local produce and sample dining delights from the city’s skilled chefs and outstanding distillers and brewers.

More than 90 per cent of the traders at the festival are based in Sheffield. Local producers will be showcasing, fruits, vegetables, oils, spices, cakes, preserves, gins and craft beers. These are just some of the produce that festival guests can buy and take home to enjoy.

This year, the event organisers have even more reason to celebrate with 2022 marking a decade of Sheffield food festivals.

From Thursday, June 2 to Sunday, June 5, the Sheffield Food Festival will take place at the Sheffield Peace Gardens at 50 Pinstone Street and other parts of the city.
