The Sheffield Fayre will take place for the 19th year in a row, and the popular and major event in Sheffield’s summer calendar will offer a day of fun designed for those of all ages.
There will be plenty for visitors to see on the day from the Horticultural Tent and National Fairground Archive Exhibition to the Vintage Village presented by the National Emergency Services Museum. Animal lovers can appreciate aerial displays from birds of prey and the RSPCA will be running a fun dog show.
The summer fair is organised by Sheffield’s City Council, working in partnership with The University of Sheffield, The Friends of Norfolk Heritage Park and the National Fairground and Circus Archive with support from Heart radio.
Organisers of outdoor events like fairs and fetes can take advantage of banner printing services to fashion colourful signage to call in the crowds.
A wide range of stalls will also be selling food and refreshments and there will be entertainment for children on the day, which will include woodland craft activities, a board games corner and a fun fair with bungee trampolines.
The event will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, which is August 31, in the verdant grounds of the Norfolk Heritage Park on Guildford Avenue. It will be opening at 10:30am and closing by 5pm.
