Sheffield is set to welcome back a folk music festival.
Following on from its success in 2019, the Sharrow Folk Festival will be held once more in the city of Sheffield. Celebrating the area’s local music talent, the event invites all to attend this family-orientated occasion, showcasing folk and blues acts from around Sheffield.
The hand-picked selection of artists confirmed to play so far include the Sheffield Cancer Choir, Treebeard, Summerisle, Mother of Order, Liana Condor and All Day Dog’s Breakfast, as well Shanghai Treason, who will take to the stage to perform an acoustic set.
Promoters of local fairs and festivals can use professional Print shops to create colourful Flyers that invite members of the public to take part in events.
The Sharrow Folk Festival was originally scheduled for Easter Sunday on April 12, but following government guidance regarding the coronavirus crisis, it was rearranged for later in the year with an October date instead.
The music festival will be held at Haggler’s Corner on Queens Road in Sheffield. The 12-hour event will now start at 2pm on Saturday, October 17, and end at 2am on Sunday October 18. Children are invited to attend the festival up until 9pm.
Physical tickets can be purchased from select outlets, or those wishing to attend can simply pay on entry when they arrive at the venue.
