Sheffield is set to host a special seasonal event that will combine a Christmas cinema classic with a live orchestra performance.
Fans of film and music in Sheffield are in for an early Christmas gift this December. Sheffield City Hall has packaged both into a single event taking place at the beginning of the month called “The Holiday in Concert – Film with Live Orchestra”.
City venues screening films and concerts often call upon specialist poster printing services to create enticing adverts that invite the public to attend.
The cinematic spectacle will take place in Sheffield City Hall’s Oval Hall where audiences can enjoy a showing of Christmas romance “The Holiday” accompanied by a live full concert orchestra playing the memorable musical score composed by Hans Zimmer.
Starring Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, Jack Black and Kate Winslet, The Holiday was directed and produced by Nancy Meyers and was released in 2006 through Universal Pictures.
Last year, the film with orchestra experience proved a great success in London and Glasgow leading organisers to return for 2024 with an epic tour featuring 10 shows across the country.
The Holiday film screening with a live orchestra will now be at Sheffield City Hall on Sunday December 8. The event will start at 7.30 pm and the civic venue is situated at Barker's Pool in Sheffield City Centre.
