An acclaimed Sheffield venue is set to welcome a US band well-known for their country and folk inspired rock.
As part of their upcoming tour entitled “Butter Miracle” American band Counting Crows will be stopping off in Sheffield for a single-night performance. Formed in Berkeley, California back in 1991 the Counting Crows features Adam Duritz on vocals, David Bryson, David Immerglück and Dan Vickrey on guitars, Charlie Gillingham on the keyboard, Millard Powers on bass and Jim Bogios on drums.
After selling seven million Copies of their debut album, “August and Everything After”, in the US, the band went on to win two Grammy Awards. The group’s name derives from a British nursery rhyme One for Sorrow that regards counting magpies superstitiously. Playing nationally and around the world, Counting Crows are renowned for their dynamic live concerts.
Fans of the band buying tickets for the Sheffield show will get a chance to catch Counting Crows classics like “Mr, Jones”, “Round Here”, “Perfect Blue Buildings”, “Accidentally in Love”, “Holiday in Spain” and “Rain King”.
