In February and March, volunteers will assist in efforts to improve the condition of the area. Poster printing in Kings Lynn could well be used to get the attention of the local people.
The Norfolk Wildlife Trust and the local authority of West Norfolk may have been heartened by the fact that, several weeks ago, many brambles have already been removed from the park by individuals from the region.
The organisers are now hoping that enough volunteers turn up on 15th February and 22nd March. Families that register in advance can receive a free lunch for their labour.
David Pope, a county council cabinet member, has told the Norfolk Eastern Daily Press:
“Now it’s time to get involved in the fun part by helping to plant trees and sow seeds which will bring a welcome splash of colour this summer. It’s a great way for families to get involved in brightening up this area and to contribute to the town’s ‘in bloom’ efforts.”
As organisers will provide guidance and tools, no experience will be required. Access to the site is enabled by parking near Kettlewell Lane, and it might be possible to purchase refreshments at the Hob in the Well, a local pub.Get a Free Quote for Plans
