Kings Lynn to hear Scottish songsmiths

An award-winning band from Scotland is playing an unplugged concert in King’s Lynn to promote their latest studio album.

King’s Lynn residents can catch Wet Wet Wet on stage this spring. Known for their chart-topping soft rock, the Scottish band are appearing in town as part of a nationwide tour that will see them play acoustic sets.

Titled “An Intimate Acoustic Evening With Wet Wet Wet”, the event in King’s Lynn will showcase the group’s new record called “Strings Attached”. The release reimagines classic songs in a format fans have yet to experience along with a cover of a favourite Fleetwood Mac song, “The Chain”. The titles featured use a range of instruments including mandolins, guitars and accordions.

Record labels and band management teams often connect with dedicated poster printing services to produce promotional content for special events like tours and album launches.

Those booking seats for the concert will be treated to an evening of simpler versions of best-selling songs like "Sweet Little Mystery", "Angel Eyes" and "Love Is All Around", which was specifically written for the soundtrack of the romantic comedy, “Four Weddings and a Funeral”.

Wet Wet Wet’s UK Acoustic Tour 2026 will arrive in King’s Lynn on Saturday, May 16. The band will play the Corn Exchange Theatre and Cinema, which can be found at Tuesday Market Place. The gig begins at 7 pm.
