Rising star of comedy has King's Lynn date

The stand-up comedian, Babatunde Aléshé, is currently on his 'High Expectations' tour and is due to perform a show in King's Lynn in early September.

This award-winning comedian, actor and podcaster is much in demand on the UK's comedy circuit. His 2022 'Mission Imagination' podcast picked up an ARIAS Award, while his 2023 initial tour 'Babahood' quickly sold 30,000 tickets.

Last year saw him chosen as the BBC's' New Comedian of the Year' Head Judge, as well as for Channel 4's 'Taskmaster'. He also co-hosts a podcast with his wife Leonie called 'Then and Now'.

Aléshé’s previous TV credits are considerable, including ITV's 'The Jonathan Ross Show', the BBC's 'Would I Lie To You' and 'Live at the Apollo'. He also features regularly on Channel 4's BAFTA nominated 'Celebrity Gogglebox'.

As an actor, he has appeared in shows such as 'Both Sides Now' on Sky One and films like 'The Naked Poet', as well as in theatre.

His stand-up is an exploration of family life, fame and the Costco experience.
