Prestigious award won by camping enterprise

Outdoors business Wild Luxury has gained an accolade in the sector of tourism and leisure at the local mayoral business awards.

Wild Luxury was founded back in 2011, but it has already received a lot of praise. It could feature its latest triumph in its promotional material, by using brochure printers from King’s Lynn. Jonathan Barber, the founder of the company, has told Lynn News:
“The Mayor’s Award recognises the team’s dynamic contribution to a little ‘idea’ that has grown into one of the most successful companies within its industry.”

The core vision behind the company is based on the observation that some people love the outdoors but do not appreciate travelling with a large load of camping gear. The family firm has also concluded that not everyone likes to camp in the most basic way possible. Hence a range of camping lodges has been constructed for people who like comfort.

Barber has pointed out that the business was runner-up in a new business category in a competition within East Anglia in 2012. He has also indicated that the organisation was a runner-up two years later in a coastal contest. He has admitted that finishing top was special after these experiences.

The latest recognition has added to the positive media attention received by the outfit. In 2014, The Sunday Times featured the company in a list of superior holidays.
