The 32nd King's Lynn Fiction Festival is due to be held in the town over a weekend in March.
There will be a mix of interviews and readings by some notable international authors. Many of those scheduled to appear have done so previously and are now returning with new novels.
Sophie Hannah, the official Poirot writer for the Agatha Christie Estate, is delivering her latest book "Haven’t They Grown." While Louise Doughty’s last title, "Apple Tree Yard", was such a success that it was quickly followed up by a TV mini-series. She is now ready to present a new publication, "Platform Seven."
The list of local writers, that includes Jill Dawson and Guinevere Glasford, commands no less attention. Romesh Gunesekra has agreed to read from and talk about his coming-of-age novel, set in 1960's Ceylon entitled "Suncatcher," Louis de Bernières will also delve into his short stories, "Labels." Finally, D.J. Taylor and Rachel Hore return with their latest offerings, "The Lost Girls" and "The Love Child"
Tickets for each event cost £10, with students at £1 and these can be purchased either at the door or in advance. A weekend pass will cost £40 and £5 for students. Poster printing is an effective way of increasing numbers in attendance.
King's Lynn Fiction Festival will take place between Friday 13th and Sunday 15th March at the Town Hall.
